Large Swedish handpainted wedding trunk

This beautiful trunk is made in oak and handpainted with flowers and wreaths and signed with the initials and dated 1832

These wonderful trunks where usually a weddinggift to the just married couple

all original paint and a beautiful timeworn patina

Original lock and key to the chest ast well as the original hand forged ironworks, one piece of metal cover is missing in the middel of the top or it has never been there, because its painted black maybe since the day it was made

A wonderful trunk that can be used for storage, blankets but lots of child toys will do as well

Complete with the original stands, this trunk is in excellent condition
