Large olive jar from the Provence

Beautiful large antique earthenware olive jar created in the Southern France

Made of blond clay and creme/soft yellow glazed interior up to the rolled rim neck

The terracotta vase has a traditional round bulbous shape and has a rustic timeworn surface around it

This large Provincial jar is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich aged patina

A very small line in the rim of the jar, doesn’t affect its strength and beauty

This large French jar is dating from the early 1800s and in wonderful condition
