Al scraped back to its natural wood with rests of beige and grey paint layers with a wonderful weathered surface

Original mouth blown convex glass to the top of the clock

Handpainted iron dial, with a lovely sun pattern behind the clockhands

Wonderful carvings on the top of the clock, a beautiful garland shaped ribbon underneath the belly of the clock

A rarely seen carved small carved figure, which looks like a bat with wings in the centre of the clockcase with some rosettes on the sides

Typical gustavian diamond shaped design on the bottom piece of the clock

The door opens in front and is held in place by 2 metal pins in the bottom of the door

A stunning clock with so many lovely details, sold as decorative historical piece, complete but clockwork not function tested

Worn with age and wonderful timeworn patina, dating from the late 18th century and in good condition
