Swedish bentwood box ‘Svepask’

A wonderful piece of Swedish folk art kitchenware

This bentwood box was used to store food, and the lid can be opened when the pin in pulled out of the handle

All made by hand, beautifully carved patterns and decorated with hearts

Probably given as a wedding present back in time

Made in the early 1800s and in very good condition
