Probably made local n the Basque country or Pyrenees, very primitive and rustic piece

All made by hand with great craftsmanship

Original forged iron hardware, it has left dark traces from rubbing against the wood over all these years

Very honest and simple piece of furniture, very clever made and with a wonderful timeworn patina

Dating to the late 17th century and in excellent condition
