This pair of angels where placed on the altar, their faces turned to each other

These beautifully carved angels are all over guilded and have a wonderful timeworn patina

Lovely polychrome painted pure and serene looking faces, one angel with the armes folded over each other and the other one praying

The large wings are very well carved and detailed and overall these statues have a nice timeworn patina

Origin to France, dating to the latest part of the 18th / early 1800’s, minor flaws to the guilding and paintwork but overall in very good condition
