Very well carved by its creator, very detailed fingers and toes and fine carvings in its wings

Wonderful weathered and aged by years of hanging besides the altar in the church

Both angels with different and wonderful expression in their faces

Beautiful painted and guilded wings and guilded veil with a very realistic movement

Some small imperfections, one toe is missing on one of the angels, could be quite an easy restoration if preferred

Worn with age and absolutely stunning pair, made in the North of France, Picarie region

Dating from the early 1700’s and in wonderful condition
